Privacy Policy

When you create a GradeEco account, we collect your name, email address, and grade (11 or 12). If you subscribe to Pro, our payment partner (Razorpay or Stripe) processes your payment details directly — GradeEco never stores your card or UPI details on its own servers.

We also store study activity you generate while using the app — chapters completed, flashcard reviews, and quiz attempts and scores — so we can show you accurate progress and recommendations.

We use your data to operate the product: tracking your progress dashboard and personalising recommended chapters.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may use aggregated, anonymised usage trends (e.g. 'which chapters students find hardest') to improve our content.

We retain your account and study data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain billing records for tax or legal purposes.

GradeEco uses local storage in your browser to remember your theme preference, progress, and session — this data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless tied to your account sync.

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing contact.gradeeco@gmail.com.
